How to plan a motorcycle route online
- Open the ViatoRide motorcycle route planner and set your start and destination.
- Choose a profile: FAST for efficient travel, RELAXED to avoid motorways and unpaved roads, or CURVY for a more interesting motorcycle-focused route.
- Compare the available routes. The active route is red and alternatives are grey — click a grey route to select it.
- Add waypoints for scenic roads, viewpoints, meeting points, fuel or food.
- Check the total distance and estimated riding time before saving.
- Save the route to your ViatoRide account and open it in the Android app.
How to plan a curvy motorcycle route
The fastest road is not always the most enjoyable one on a motorcycle. Choose CURVY in the web planner. ViatoRide shapes a more motorcycle-focused path and then matches it to roads. When alternatives are available, they appear in grey and can be selected directly on the map.
More curves usually mean more time and distance. Check weather, road conditions, fuel range and your own riding limits before setting off. A route planner can help with preparation, but it cannot guarantee current road surface or accessibility.
Motorcycle loop route generator
If you want to ride for a set distance and return to where you started, use the loop generator in the ViatoRide Android app. Choose a distance and direction, review the proposal on the map and adjust it before starting navigation. The web planner is best when you already know which roads or places you want to include.
GPX motorcycle navigation
Already have a GPX file from a friend, club or previous trip? ViatoRide can import GPX in the mobile app. You can keep selected tracks and routes, inspect them on the map and start riding from the details screen. GPX tracks and road-based routes use different guidance methods.
From the web planner to motorcycle navigation
Save your route in the browser while signed in to the same ViatoRide account you use on your phone. Open the saved route in the app, confirm the start point and route shape, then launch navigation.
More than a route planner
